How It Works
From your lyrics to a polished recording, in five steps.
You Write The Lyrics
You supply the words. The lyrics need to come from you, because the whole point is that the song feels personal and connected to the people involved.
You Tell Me The Song
Let me know which song your lyrics are based on. A rough phone recording is helpful but not required, if it shows how you want the words to fit.
I Check If It Works
Some lyrics look great on paper but do not quite fit when sung. I will let you know if anything needs trimming or adjusting before I record.
I Record The Vocal
Once the lyrics are ready, I record the vocal in my studio. The goal is to make the words clear and entertaining so the moment lands on the day.

Do you write the lyrics for me?
No. You supply the lyrics; I record the vocal. The words need to come from you so the moment feels personal.
Do I have to sing on the recording?
No. That is the whole idea. You write the words and I sing them.
What format do I get back?
A digital audio file by email, MP3 by default with WAV on request.
How much notice do you need?
Two to three weeks is comfortable, especially if the lyrics need a small adjustment before recording. Rush jobs are sometimes possible. Ask early.
Sing My Speech recordings are for private event use. Posting online, broadcasting or commercial use need separate music licensing. I record the vocal; I don't own the underlying song.
Cheeky is fine. Personal is fine. A bit of friendly embarrassment is half the fun. I'll pass on lyrics that go cruel, hateful or defamatory.
